KingdomHearts Other World Meme

Whee, another meme! This one, (blank here: [link]) features my Nobody character Xalic's world forms.

Normal: Xalic's Other, Cali (hey, wow, that's my name!), lived in The Court of Miracles, having been adopted by the gypsies after Frollo slaughtered her whole family. She sang on the streets for money and almost always gave away every scrap of food that came her way, claiming everyone else needed it more than she did (despite the fact that she nearly starved to death doing this several times). Her determination to help everyone else before herself, even if it meant going in way over her head, led her to fall to a Heartless attack on the Court, where she became Xalic. Her element is gravity, but even if she didn’t absolutely hate violence, she can’t make much use of her powers without coming dangerously close to fading. Unfortunately, her skill with her staff is even worse than her limited magic. Due to her experiences running from the law in her human life, Xalic is incredibly paranoid and tends to dart away at the first sign of danger. She worries about the Organization as much as she did her human family, which is a very dangerous thing when combined with her fragile sanity. For example, once Sora has the Organization whittled down to her, Xemnas, Saix, and Luxord, she kills herself rather than watch everyone she knows die one by one.

Timeless River: Xalic likes this world—no fighting ^__^ She’s pretty intrigued by how strange she looks here.

Olympus Coliseum: She’s hiding behind a pillar, because she absolutely loathes this whole gladiator thing.

Agrabah: This is my favorite world in terms of how it came out—I was going for a “street mouse” sort of look, and I think I succeeded quite well!

Atlantica: I’ve done this character design before, and it turned out better in the past :/ She’s not part anything in particular, but I do have one note: THOSE THINGS AROUND HER ARMS AND CHEST ARE PEARLS, NOT CHAINS. There is no bondage with my characters, perverts.

Halloween Town: She’s a fortune teller/gypsy sort of thing, just like in her past life. However, like I said before, she’s a big scaredy-cat. A world about scaring people would give her a heart attack if she had one.

Neverland: Isn’t she a pretty little pixie? <3

Pride Land: I have no idea what happened to this one. She’s supposed to be a monkey, but she sure as hell doesn’t look like any more than a bunch of purple lines. I apologize profusely.

Port Royal: Her damsel-in-distress dress was not meant to look as much like Elizabeth’s purple one as it does, I swear. The picture I referenced was orange. This is another world that Xalic is highly not compatible with, between the psycho zombies and the fact that she’s so weak, it makes her a perfect kidnap victim.

Space Paranoids: I hate drawing this world. I hate playing this world. I hate this world.

100 Acre Wood: I couldn’t think of anything, so she became the plushie version of herself, dressed in her Other’s clothes. She had my brown hair back then, tied up in a purple scarf, but other than that, that’s what she wears. Oh yeah, and she wasn’t a plushie, either.

The Land of Dragons: I completely BS’ed this one, and I still like how it came out ^__^

Beast’s Castle: This is where I got lazy. She is a spoon because I didn’t feel like putting forth the effort to make her anything else XD

Deep Jungle: This is my other favorite drawing… if you disregard the fact that there are no tigers in the African jungle XDDDD I don’t know where my brain went on that one. But she digs this vine swinging stuff ^__^

Wonderland: Whee, Lolita! She’s falling down the Rabbit Hole, even though the background for the meme was the Lotus Forest. My bad!

One final note: I made a serious effort not to make her a Sue—she’s extremely weak, she’s paranoid, she’s a little weak in the head, she’s too skinny to really be pretty (although you can’t tell with my chibis— that bit about being overly generous meant that she’s seriously malnourished), and rather than getting her heart back, she commits suicide. Please don’t hate the OCs ^__^
